The Cloan and Westmill Team
Paul graduated from Cambridge University in 1998 with a degree in Natural Sciences (Genetics). He joined Cloan Hatcheries in 2013 to manage Cloan’s re-entry into the re-stocking market.
Before joining Cloan Hatcheries in 2021, Mikey spent 12 years working between the Scottish aquaculture industry and in academia where he completed both an MSc and a PhD in salmonid physiology. He is passionate about sustainability in the aquaculture sector.
John joined the Westmill team in 2000 after completing his studies in Fish Farming and Fisheries Management at the Barony College, Dumfries.
Dick has been a pioneer in the development of the UK trout industry. He founded Cloan Hatcheries in 1972 and became the largest producer of fingerling rainbow Trout in the UK.
Martyn enjoys outdoor life and is a keen fisherman and has travelled extensively around Scotland.
Paul “Fletch” has extensive experience working with salmonids. Before starting at Westmill in 2021, Fletch spent 16 years working in the Scottish salmon industry. His attention to detail and high welfare standards mean he’s been a great addition to the team.
